In an earlier post, I discussed Piquet, by Professor Hoffmann (Angelo J. Lewis, 1839-1919), mainly in connection with a boxed Piquet set issued by Goodall, circa 1902. I indicated that Piquet ran through many editions, but that it is not particularly a common booklet.
I did not post any scans of the booklet in that earlier post, but below are a few relevant scans of my copy of the fifth edition, 1902.
If I had to guess, I would say that the first edition was probably similar to the fifth edition in appearance. I do know that the cover design of my thirteenth edition, 1918, is significantly different.
