(Note: I am delaying the post on “the third hot dog.”)
This post will say a little about the statistics that WordPress provides to me about visits to the blog. The furthest back my “country” statistics go for this blog is only to February 25, 2012, less than a year ago.
The statistics are mainly in terms of “views,” and as I have probably said before on this blog, the statistics do not provide me with much information. “Actual” views of posts could be far more, since the statistics might record a view of several posts as one view. But below is a summary of views, for countries with ten or more views “since February 25, 2012” (to use WordPress’s expression).
The numbers of different visitors are probably generally far fewer than the number of “views.” For example, the United Kingdom shows 1,137 views, but in terms of actual visitors from the UK, maybe it is more like a couple of hundred hundred, as a wild guess. On the other hand, I suspect that the actual number of views of separate posts is far greater than 1,137 — could be several times that, as another wild guess.
